Hi, my name is Rex and I’m a very gentle and affectionate 4 year old male greyhound.
I live with my foster mum, at first I was very timid but she has been wonderfully patient with me and I am now starting to gain confidence. Saying that I like to make sure that my foster mum is never far away! I have been left up to 3 hours by myself but love it when my foster mum gets home again.
My favourite thing is going for walks and love to get out 6 or 7 days a week for 20 or 30 minutes. I may pull a little on the lead to begin with just because I am excited but I soon settle down and walk nicely next to my foster mum.
While out I have met lots of other dogs, the small dogs frighten me a bit so I avoid them but I love to have a bit of play time with other larger dogs and think I’d like to have a medium to large dog friend at my fur-ever home.
I have met a few small children and have been happy being cuddled and patted once I got over my initial shyness, one of the children even tucked me into my bed! I’m learning to love pats and cuddles.
I can still be a bit shy at times so would be happy to be in a quieter home. I still have some things to learn so need a family who are willing to put some time in helping to continue the training that my foster mum has started, give me lots of love and patience and I will thrive!!
I can’t wait to meet my new family, if I sound like the right Grey for you please get in touch with my friends at GAP on 8243 7124.
