I am still a bit worried that Kylie will make the effort to set up the 'Greyhound of the Month' awards again and there will only be limited interest. I don't see it as a competitive beauty pageant thing but a fun way for us to see more grey photos and with the theme idea we would see more of the similarities we have all talked about.

These are some of my ideas for each month but please, please feel free to add your ideas and thoughts.

January - Australia Day (and that could be anything from including the Australian flag to your grey at a BBQ).
February - Sleeping beauties.
March - St. Patricks Day (grey in anything green, which leaves it wide open as they all have green collars!).
April - Easter
May -
June - Winter (greys in pyjamas/coats)
July - GAP's Birthday
August -
September - Spring (greys in gardens/flowers)
October - I think world animal day is in October (grey with another dog or animal)
November - Holiday snaps
December - Christmas

I was actually going to suggest the 'Greys with other animals' one as well Mary :)
I think that would be a really good one as many people think greys aren't good with other animals. I got Ike to pose with a horse today!! :D He let it sniff/lick him and everything it was so great, very proud moment for me as I now have a picture of Ike with another animal :P

Maybe greys with kids would be another good one? Greys with elderly people?

More of my crazy ideas:
Funny greys/greys being silly (I have alot of these!)
Greys doing tricks
Active greys - Everyone has pictures of sleeping hounds so how about some 'action shots' as well :D
Greys on holiday

I really like your ideas Savannah, as they really show how versitle greys are.

Ike did very well meeting the horse. We have a horse that Heidi has been close to with the paddock fence between them! Heidi goes quite close but avoids any direct eye contact. The horse is the same colour as her. Maybe she is thinking it is huge for another grey   .

All my action shots are out of focus as they move too fast for my little camera 8-) .

Thanks for your reply.

Ike met the horse through a fence as well but it was poking it's head over to get a good look at him. Ike gave the impression he wasn't much interested but I still say that counts as a friendship with another animal :P

He also met a snake today :? We were walking along the road and he was about to step on it when I saw it out the corner of my eye and yanked him away. He didn't even see it (snake didn't appear to see us either) but I reckon it could have been nasty.
