MILLY'S BLOG ENTRY - GREETINGS FROM THE RIVERLAND!

Hello, I'm Milly! I have moved to the Riverland, and it's
not too bad here at all! I love going for walks along the river, and I love
running with some of my new k9 friends, but most of all I love lazing around
in the house, especially on that lovely, soft couch in the living room.
I don't think I was ever meant to use it, but it's amazing what you can
get away with being a greyhound... I think it would have been a different
story if I were a golden retriever!
The scenery up here is pretty amazing, and there are sooo many exciting
things to sniff on my walks. Like for example, one hot afternoon I was walking
along the river when suddenly these amazingly big creatures called kangaroos
jumped across the path in front of me! I just wanted to chase them sooo
badly, they smelt DELICIOUS!
One day my human friend took me along to a farm, where I met
some even bigger creatures -apparently they were horses! I really wasn't
too sure about them, and preferred running around with the other dogs on
the farm. At one point I was running as fast as I could, and I think I impressed
everyone there. In the end the other dogs stopped running when they couldn't
keep up with me, he heh.
I've been doing heaps of things so far, including going for long rides in
the car to new and exciting places, bushwalks, picnics at the riverbank,
and visiting friends around the place. I'm having a really good time. I'm
only bored when I'm home alone, having to wait for my next adventure. Actually,
I'm hoping I can see some more of those kangaroos, 'cos they were pretty
cool!
