Greyhounds for adoption

Page Navigation

Lottie is a 3-year-old, black female greyhound looking for a Foster home.

Foster care requires a dedicated individual or family to take a greyhound into their home and spend approximately six weeks assisting the greyhound to learn behaviours that are desirable in a domestic pet. Foster carers assist the greyhound with the transition from life in a kennel environment to life in a family home.

Lottie would be best suited to a home as an only dog or with greyhound company. Lottie is an active, independent, outgoing, confident and easy-going girl but she is very strong and full on so best suited to a home with older children (13+). She is very friendly towards both people and other dogs but can get over-excited so she will require some assistance around dog socialisation. Lottie would be comfortable doing occasional to part time hours alone.

If you foster Lottie we will provide you with the following:

Collar, lead and muzzle
Walking coat
Winter coat
Dry food
Pet mince
Training guide
Feeding guide
Flea treatment and worming tables
$25 per week gratuity payment
