Greyhound Adoption Program SA (GAP SA) are excited to announce their latest supporter, Fresh Pet Food Co.
South Australian owned company Macro Meats are the producers of the product and they will be supporting the program with the provision of fresh pet food which will be used to help feed GAP SA greyhounds for the duration of their foster care as well as the first week of adoption. The three year agreement will see approximately 24,000kg donated to the program! Found in supermarkets nationally, Fresh Pet Food Co is a 100% naturally lean kangaroo meat that is sustainably and ethically sourced.
As kangaroos are free roaming, open range animals that graze on natural vegetation, the meat is clean, free from antibiotics, added growth hormones and added chemicals. It is also high in protein, low in fat and an excellent source of vitamins and minerals including thiamine, riboflavin, iron, zinc and Omega-3’s. GAP SA are extremely thankful for Fresh Pet Food Co’s support as this agreement will reduce the responsibility placed on the foster carer to purchase wet food.

**All GAP SA greyhounds will go to their foster home with 6kg of kangaroo mince, but will require a small amount of beef mince too.
