Louie who raced as “Recommend” is a handsome boy with an equally beautiful personality. He’s laid back, happy boy who is friends with everyone he meets. He can be a bit of a Nervous Nelly who would love to live in a home with another Greyhound who will show him the ropes. 

Specific requirements:

• Louie can live with M-L company, preferrably a greyhound if can 
• He can stay at home part time hours alone  or for full time hours with dog company
• Louie is suitable to live with children aged 12 years or older
• He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets

What we know:

• Louie is a social butterfly and is friends with everybody he meets!
• He loves to use his nose so he would benefit from daily “sniffari” walks
• Louie loves to go for a run around in the morning then comes back inside for a nap
• Loves being around other dogs and would benefit from living with one

Below is a summary written by his current foster carer:

Louie is a loving people dog that loves human company. He knows the command wait and is alwasy super eager to please when asked to wait for food, to cross the road, go through doors etc.Louie gets very excited in the morning when first greeting his humans. After his breakfast he calms downs and happily goes to his bed for a little nap. Louie would appreciate a quiet spot in the home where he can go for some quiet time when he is feeling overwhelmed.  He loves his afternoon walk and is happy to walk either on a short sniffari or a longer explore of the neighbourhood. Louie is very food motivated and is trying very hard not to let that control him ! This also makes hims very eager to learn and he loves to train. Louie is currently in foster with his Greyhound brother Bluie and would really grow and learn from another large dog in the home. He still has some puppy tendencies so would enjoy another dog that likes to play, especially when his humans are away.
