Denzel is a dashing boy that has had experience living in a home. He loves cheese, sleeping the day away outside and being with his favourite people.
Specific requirements:
- Denzel would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
- He can be home for full time hours without company.
- Denzel can be a bit shy and would prefer a home without any kids.
- He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets.
What we have noticed:
- While Denzel is initially timid with new people, once he gets to know you he comes out of his shell and loves to see his favourite people!
- He can be a bit of a lazy boy and enjoys snoozes at home – while he usually enjoys his daily walks sometimes he would rather stay home! On his walks he is always on his best behaviour and enjoys walking next to you except for the odd sniff moment!
- Denzel is on regular ongoing anti-inflammatory medication for arthritis/tight back and this will need to be continued in his new home.
- He has lived in a home before – he knows to wait for his food, has great door manners and knows “on your mat”.
- Denzel is used to being outside most of his time so would suit someone who wants a dog that will just chill on his own in the backyard while you are at work.
- He loves cheese!
