Greyhounds for foster

Jazzy Jake  | Blue | 25kg

Jazzy Jake, who raced as "Allinga Blues," is a happy go lucky soul available to foster or foster to adopt. He is very petite for a boy at only 25kg!

Jake has had some experience in a home where he had very good house manners. He is now looking for a new foster home, with an experienced foster carer who can help him with his socialisation around small dogs. If you’ve got some greyhound experience, dog training experience, and the time available to help and guide him, you might be his perfect match!

Specific requirements:

• Jake would prefer to live as an only dog
• He is fine to be on his own for full time hours
• Jake can live with children over the age of 12
• He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets

From his foster carers:

• Jake is a little blue boy with a big heart
• He's super affectionate and will keep you company as you go about your day, and loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch in the evening 
• Jake enjoys snacking on crunchy cucumbers and likes to try new foods
• He enjoys snuggling with a plush toy or chasing a tennis ball round the yard
• Jake's learnt to wait in the bedroom doorway and not enter, to wait patiently for his dinner or to clip on his lead for a walk, and to spin on command (his party trick)
• Jake would benifit from a family who is happy to continue work on his socialisation during foster care
