Jack Jack Jackie is an affectionate girl who likes to be around her humans and is looking for a forever home to call her own. Jackie would suit retirees who want an affectionate and loving dog. 

Specific requirements:

• Jackie would like to live as an only dog in the home.
• She can be left alone for part time hours
• Jackie can live with a family with children 12 years or older.
• She is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets.

What we have noticed:

• Jackie is an affectionate girl who likes to be around her humans,
• She likes to go on walking and ‘Sniffari’ adventures where she can explore new and exciting environments.
• Jackie also likes her food and would love to try all different types or treaties and enrichment.
• She is independent and playful and likes to have long naps in the sunshine.

Foster Carers notes:

Jackie is a lovely greyhound, the most affectionate I've met, and will happily bury her head into your armpit or on your shoulder to be close to you - in fact this is what she did the very first time we met. She's at her happiest when around people (even more than with other dogs), though give her a good bone and she'll be happy for a long time. Over her time in foster care she became more independent and was fine to be left at home during the day. She doesn't need too much walking and is perfectly happy to explore all her familiar spots on a walk before resting at home for long stretches.
