Outstanding Oscar… | Light Brindle |

Oscar is a very loveable and quiet boy who loves a cuddle from his humans and is looking for a quiet home to call his own.

Specific requirements:

  • Oscar can either live as an only dog or with a MEDIUM to LARGE doggo companion.
  • He can be left alone in the home for full time hours with or without his doggo companion.
  • Oscar can live with a family with children 8 years or older.
  • He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry, or pocket pets.

What we have noticed:

  • Oscar is a sweet boy who likes a cuddle from his humans.
  • He is a quiet boy and a bit of a gentle giant.
  • Oscar likes his food and would like to try all different types or treaties and enrichment.
  • He likes to go on walking adventures where he can meet new people and new doggo friends.
  • Oscar also likes to go on ‘Sniffari’ adventures where he likes to explore new and exciting environments.

A note from the Foster Carer:

At first Oscar was a shy little soul, but with time, love, and lots of snacks, he’s started to show his sweet, affectionate side. Now, he lives for morning walks, scratches, and the occasional teddy toss (though, fair warning – “fetch” is still a bit of a mystery to him).

Daily Routine Highlights:

  • A brisk 10–20 minute morning walk (or run if the human can keep up) to stretch those long legs, and sniff everything in sight.
  • A big burst of morning energy, usually expressed through happy jumps and zoomies.
  • Naps. So many naps.

Oscar can be a bit of a nervous nelly when it comes to the loud noises of a major road. He would prefer to be walked in quieter areas or parks where he can explore the environment at his own pace.

Food? Yes. Always. Forever. Oscar will do anything for food – cheese, watermelon, chicken hearts, you name it. He’s also proudly the type of dog who eats all his vegetables. Just don’t leave anything edible within reach… he will find it.

Car rides? Love them. Getting into the car? Well, that’s still under review. Once in, he rides like a pro – you may just need to remind him that he’s not actually licensed to drive.

Oscar has also mastered the ancient art of the doggy door and is very happy to demonstrate. When you leave, he’ll gracefully accept a Dentastick and settle on his bed like the gentleman he is.

Oscar loves:

  • The quiet life with lots of naps.
  • ‘Sniffari’ walks where he can explore the environment and sniff everything.
  • A steady supply of tasty snacks and squeaky toys.

If you're after a lanky lovebug with a soft heart, a silly streak, and a strong passion for treats, Oscar might just be your perfect match.
