Sol is a friendly and playful boy looking for a fun family that also wants a couch companion!

Specific requirements:

• Sol is fine to be an only dog or with a medium to large dog companion.
• He can be home for full time hours with or without company.
• Sol is suitable for a home with children 5 years or older.
• He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets.

What we know:

• Sol can be active and playful but also loves his relaxation time.
• He is easy going and loves going out for walks around the neighbourhood.
• Sol loves his toys and would love a family to play with.
• He loves people and loves to just snooze quietly among his family or come in for a cuddle.
• Sol would benefit from a greyhound experienced carer/owner to help continue working on his excitability around small dogs.

From his foster carer:

Sol (Solomon) is such a beautiful dog. He is gentle and calm, however has a lot of life left to live and enjoys long walks and enrichment to use up some energy. He loves to wear his pyjamas and tuck his head under the blanket (or more recently behind the pillow?). He is great with large and medium dogs, and calm when greeting them, although he can get over-excited on walks when he sees another dog. His favourite toy is his soft hot chocolate mug, which he likes to catch mid air and then squeak as many times as possible. He is lively, affectionate and has been a joy to foster. He is not food aggressive nor prone to counter surfing, however, will gladly accept cheese offerings. Sol is very much suited to the lap dog life, and has made his way into our hearts very quickly.
