Nev is a sweet and affectionate boy who raced as "Captain Red Tin" because his owner loves Red Tins.  He loves affection from his humans and is looking for a loving forever home.

Specific requirements:

• Nev can live as an only dog for part time hours or with a submissive MEDIUM to LARGE female companion for full time hours. 
• Nev can live with a family with children 12 years or older.
• He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry, or pocket pets. Although Nev has been living with caged outside birds while in his foster home and has shown potential to be able to live with birds. 

What we have noticed:

• Nev is a very affectionate boy who likes to be around his humans.
• He likes to lie on his back and ‘roach’ when he is calm and relaxed.
• Nev loves his biscuits and treats and would also love to try all different types or enrichment.
• He likes to go on adventure trips in the car.

From His Foster Home: 

Nev has had extensive exposure to outdoor caged birds while in foster care and has shown very little interest in them, which may make him suitable to potentially live with outdoor caged birds. He absolutely loves his ball pits and can happily spend hours pulling the balls out and tossing them around. Nev is very gentle with his toys and takes great care of them, not destroying a single toy during his time in foster care. He enjoys interactive enrichment activities and is excellent at keeping himself entertained.
