Dee Jay is a very happy, sweet and affectionate boy who loves to be around his humans for cuddles and kisses and is looking for a loving home to call his own.

Specific requirements:

• Dee Jay can live either as an only dog or with a dog friend of any size.
• He can be left in the home for full time hours with or without his dog companion.
• Dee Jay can live with a family with children 5 years or older.
• He has the potential to live with up to 2 INDOOR ONLY cats.
• Dee Jay is not suitable to live with poultry or pocket pets.

What we have noticed:

• Dee Jay is a happy and sweet boy who likes to spend time around his humans.
• He has had experience living in the home and has taken well to pet life.
• Dee Jay is very affectionate and loves a cuddle from his humans, he will often come up and rest his drooly head on your lap!
• Dee Jay does have a unique birth quirk - his tongue permanently hangs out the side of his mouth. This does mean that he drinks with his head on the side and can be a bit messy and drooly with water and saliva. He makes up for it with soo much love though! 

From his foster carer:

• Dee Jay has been having regular visits to his carer's worklplace and seeing lots of different dogs there!
• He lives on a property with a variety of animals, he has had experience with multiple cats in the home, other large breed dogs, chickens and even steers.
• Dee Jay would be best suited to have a deep dish water bowl outside to help with his quirky way of drinking.
• He can be a little nervous in a home to start up with but is so lovely once he settles in. He is a very friendly boy and has gotten used to seeing lots of people while in foster. He also lives with 2 kids that he gets on great with!
• Dee Jay does like to do a bit of landscaping and would suit well with his own little digging area.
• He is very calm and gentle and loves a good ear rub!
