Sweetheart Sav | Black | 30kg
Sweetheart Sav raced under the name “Banjo Man” and had 54 race starts. He is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves his food!
Specific requirements:
- Sav can live as an only dog or with a M-L Female dog companion
- He is happy to stay at home for part time hours alone, or full time with dog comany
- He is suitable for a home with children 8 years and older
- Sav is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets.
From his foster carers:
- Sav loves peanut butter treats and enjoys a peanut butter stuffed kong at bedtime.
- Sav has learnt how to play with toys, and loves it when they squeak! He will take them outside for a zoomie where he throws his toys in the air and chases them all by himself.
- Sav loves collecting and chewing on anything that’s cardboard - particularly egg cartons! Sav also likes long lasting chewable toys like dog wood and pigs ears.
- Sav enjoys being a couch potato and will nap most of the day. Although short lived, he loves a zoomie in the backyard!
- Sav is most comfortable when his humans are around. He would love to have a owner who is home a lot to keep him company, as he gets anxious when left all by himself. Sav is learning to be left alone over night, and benefits from being given enrichment activities to keep him busy when his foster family go to bed.
- Sav is a gentle soul who benefits from encouragement and praise, particularly when feeling anxious or uncertain.
- Sav is a confident walker in familiar and new environments, and is gentle when meeting new dogs - big and small.
- Sav enjoys meeting new humans and enjoys being shown physical affection by anyone.
- Sav loves a big stretch! His foster family have noticed he likes to do big stretches to get positive reinforcement and attention from his humans!
