Meet Sir Truculent (Barney), affectionately known to many during his illustrious racing career as “The Truc”. Barney of course raced as Sir Truculent. His achievements include being named the 2020 Greyhound of the Year, winner of 46 races and amassing $440,000 in prizemoney, The Truc was a star and at one point having his own Facebook page with over 1000 followers.

Specific requirements:

• Barney is happy living as an only dog or with medium-large female company
• He is comfortable staying at home for full time hours alone
• He is better suited to a home with children over 5
• He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets

What we have noticed:

• Barney is a very happy boy and quite relaxed
• He is very confident and easy going and is great in his trainer’s home
• He loves Pizza but he’s says no to pineapple on pizza
• Barney also has a love of ice cream but not he brain freezes that come with it
