Bouncing Blue | Black | 39kg |

This gentle giant loves people and neck rubs. He loves to play with his full size so would suit robust and tolerant playmates. He is nicknamed "Horse" due to his bigger size!

Specific requirements:

  • Blue is fine to be an only dog or with a medium to large female dog companion.
  • He can be home for full time hours with or without company.
  • Blue is suitable for a home with children 12 years or older.
  • He is not suitable to live with cats, poultry or pocket pets.

What we have noticed:

  • Blue loves to play, he uses his front feet when playful and doesn’t act like the big boofhead that he is!
  • He loves food and sleep so is perfect for someone wanting a cute little snuggler. He loves to lean in for pats so may accidentally knock over younger kids!
  • Blue can be quite silly at times, he is a lot like a puppy in a big body – if going to a home with another dog he would suit one that is playful or quite robust.
  • He loves to play with his soccer ball!

From his foster carer:

  • Blue is very sweet and has eyes that will make you melt. He is quite an independent boy- he likes to know where we are but then is happy to go explore the backyard by himself.
  • In the short time we have had him we have noticed he likes to snooze (a lot ), likes going on walks and collecting his toys and laying down with them.
  • He is good at our meal times and can be left alone for full time hours.
  • He is good on lead and has been fine with kids ranging between 3-7 years of age.
  • He is a bit shy to begin with but once he gets to know his humans and he learns his new routine, he will settle into a new home very well.
