Stupendous Slinky is certainly something special. This cheeky fun loving dog will certainly get you moving with his amazing energy! Given his perpensity to move it's suprising to know that Slinky never raced. I guess he just thought a b-line for retirement sounded better! Slinky has never lived in a home before so he is looking for someone to help show him the ropes. This amazing bundle of energy loves to swagger around exploring and will greet people he knows with with a big enthusiastic hug! Slinky has a high drive and would be ideally suited to someone who can match his energy and provide him with the stimulation he needs to thrive! Don't let his energy fool you though. Slinky is still a greyhound and still exhibits all the standard traits of a non-racing couch potato. 

Slinky is resilient dog and copes well meeting new people and in new environments. He is social, happy and friendly and engages well.

Specific requirements:

At this stage Slinky has no specific requirements. Placing specific requirements on him unneccesarily might limit him from finding his forever home.

What we have noticed:

• Slinky is social and friendly toward unfamiliar people
• Has strong engagement
• High responsiveness to reinforcement
• In training sessions Slinky is; alert, interested, socially engaged, outgoing with handling and training exercises
• Consistent focus on handler interaction
• When left alone there there have been no observable signs of distress or concern. No vocalisation, pacing or agitating behaviours

• Has a willingness to learn
